Caveman Grocer uses a professional courier service for all BC & lower mainland orders. Please note that our service does its absolute best to meet your requested delivery time however, we cannot guarantee that your order will be delivered at the requested time. For this reason, we use our cooler delivery program. Each and every order (delivered in the lower mainland) will be delivered in a self-containing soft cooler with ice packs. These coolers are designed to keep your food below 4 degrees Celsius for up to 6 hours after delivery and maintain the integrity of the food.
Each new customer must place a deposit on a cooler bag, it is a one time $40 deposit. Each time we deliver, your order will be delivered in a new cooler. Please be sure to leave your old cooler out for collection in a safe place on delivery day. You are responsible for the protection of the cooler and icepacks while in your possession. We have a very limited number of coolers and if you continually forget to leave out your cooler you may incur a nonrefundable administration fee of $5. Ice packs are also important to return, if these do not come back there is a non-refundable restocking fee of $10. We hate charging these fees, so please remember to return your cooler and icepacks! Should you need to return your cooler and collect your $40 deposit back, we are happy to send our driver to do so at no charge, however, if we send our driver and the cooler is not available for pickup (be it you forgot, or no one came to the door when we rang the bell, etc.) we will have to charge you your regions delivery fee for the next pickup attempt.
Any discounts applied using a referral discount or marked as "new customers only" can only be used once per household, per new customer. This includes our 2freeMeal Promotion and any other discount codes offered by Caveman Grocer or its affiliates. Caveman Grocer has the right to cancel or adjust any orders not honouring this rule.
All of the food that we deliver will stay fresh for 5 days from delivery. Please note that other items in your fridge can affect this. To ensure that your food stays fresh for the 5 days:
Caveman Grocer is not responsible for your order once it has been delivered. Nor for coolers left out in the open for collection. Should you be worried that your area is not safe to drop a cooler at your front door, or to leave an old one out, we are more than happy to drop it in a hiding spot that you pick. In the unfortunate event that a cooler left out for return is taken or damaged, you are liable. The cooler deposit associated is therefore taken as payment and a new deposit must be paid before your next delivery.
Should you need to make a pause, change, adjustment, or cancellation to your subscription, you must do so before Thursday each week. Our recurring billing app processes very late on Wednesday night and then the invoices are submitted to the kitchen for preparation and cooking. All of the food is made fresh to order. Once the recurring order deadline has passed (Friday 4pm weekly) we cannot process your request and your order will delivered on your regions delivery day, no exceptions. For any changes, pauses or cancellations, we ask you email or call us directly, so that we can easily take care of it for you.
Should you cancel your recurring order after the invoice has been processed but before Friday 4pm, a $10 non-refundable admin fee will be charged. If the order is cancelled after order deadline
We cannot make any changes to your delivery address on the day of delivery.
Our drivers have pre manifested delivery schedules created specifically each week to provide the most accurate and efficient routes for all deliveries.
If you need to make a change to the shipping address on your order invoice, it must be done before Friday 4pm. Should extenuating circumstances arise, please only contact the office by phone 604 962 4677. Speak to one of our friendly team to see if alternative arrangements can be made. We will try our best to accommodate the change if we are able. A nonrefundable change fee of $15 for address changes made after Friday 4pm will apply.

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information. Our newsletters are sent out once per week.

Web Push notifications are automated customer alerts that are delivered via web browser platforms to subscribers for the purposes of marketing. They are functional across a number of browsers and operating systems.
The Company ensures that all subscriber lists remain private and confidential. The Company will not sell, rent, loan or invite external access to a customer's contact lists. Nor will Company themselves use customer's contact lists for any purpose.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers unless entered by you via the Recharge subscription app or securely provided to one of our staff members.
